The Academic Planning Administrator serves as a vital link between Faculty and the Professional Development Program, managing all aspects of academic planning and coordination under the guidance of the Associate Dean.
Primary Functions And Responsibilities
Academic Planning Management:
Coordinate all contracts for instructors and faculty.
Maintain comprehensive adjunct faculty files.
Ensure all documentation (vitae, Statement of Faith, hiring, and tax documents) is updated for new and returning faculty.
Create and oversee faculty contracts.
Track and manage professor approvals, ensuring compliance with adjunct status requirements.
Financial Oversight
Manage the program budget and oversee financial operations.
Process invoices and ensure timely payments.
Request payments for professors, contractors, content readers, and guest lecturers.
Approve faculty reimbursement requests via Concur.
Administrative Support
Prepare agendas, take minutes, and make arrangements for staff meetings and D.Min. Core Faculty sessions.
Attend and actively participate in staff meetings.
Required Knowledge And Skills
Bachelor's Degree in relevant field.
Proficiency in bookkeeping, accounting, and financial management.
Typing speed of 40 wpm with proficiency in PC and Mac platforms and word processing software.
4-6 years of administrative experience in a multi-staff office environment.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage varying workloads and interruptions.
Professional and courteous phone etiquette.
Ability to work collaboratively with the Associate Dean.
Familiarity with the educational needs of ministry leaders is advantageous.

Remote work within the United States, subject to payroll state approval.
