Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on production equipment and building systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Electrical Expertise: Wire and troubleshoot electrical systems (480V / 240V, 3-phase and single-phase). Arc Flash training is a plus.
- Plumbing Skills: Install and repair plumbing systems including black pipe threading, copper pipe sweating, and PVC.
- Pump Expertise: Install, maintain, and repair hydraulic and pneumatic pumps.
- Mechanical Proficiency: Conduct basic repairs on machinery, demonstrating strong mechanical knowledge.
- Tool Utilization: Safely and proficiently operate hand and power tools in accordance with safety protocols.
- Building Maintenance: Address building maintenance tasks such as lighting, water issues, and general repairs.
- Equipment Development: Assist in projects with Manufacturing Engineering, including equipment setup and rearrangement.
- Safety Focus: Ensure compliance with lockout/tagout procedures and other safety protocols.
- Technical Reading: Interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, and work orders to execute tasks effectively.
- Fabrication Skills: Fabricate or modify parts using shop equipment as required.
- Experience troubleshooting Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), CNC machines, Turret Presses, Press Brakes, Lasers, and basic air compressor systems.
- Knowledge of hoist operation, inspection, and repair.
- HVAC systems knowledge is a plus.
- Lift and move items weighing up to 100 pounds (infrequently) and 50 pounds (occasionally), with assistance for heavier items.
- Perform physical activities including lifting, carrying, standing, walking, climbing, crouching, stooping, and upper body twisting.
- Capable of working at heights up to 30 feet using appropriate safety measures.
- Work in a metal fabrication/assembly shop and indoor/outdoor storage areas.
- Potential exposure to fumes, airborne particles, chemicals, moving mechanical parts (including overhead cranes), and inclement weather. Proper PPE will be provided and required.

- Attendance: Punctuality and consistent attendance are essential.
- Certifications and Experience: Relevant certifications and three or more years of maintenance experience preferred.
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent; additional technical training is beneficial.
- Competitive pay ranging from $26.00 to $30.00 per hour
- Full-time position with guaranteed hours and opportunities for overtime
