    The Texas Medical Device Alliance (TMDA), previously known as the Medical Device Action Group, was founded in February 2009 and is based in Austin, Texas. The organization was established to support medical device entrepreneurs who had a need to network with peers and build synergy with the medical community, other biotech entrepreneurs, academia, and medical device industry service providers.

    The primary objective of the Alliance is to help create an infrastructure that provides all elements necessary for the successful creation, development, production, and distribution of end-user medical devices. In a phrase, the objective of the Alliance is to:

    “Provide support from idea conception to patient care implementation.”

  • iPhone App - Sema-4

    Developed and published iPhone app in Apple store. This application was intended to detect falls in the elderly but due to FDA restrictions, the accelerometer module had to be disabled and the application ended up limited to a panic-button-like app. It allows to perform several calls and text messages with the push of one button. Ideal for emergencies and broadcasting a message.

  • Messaging engine for ERP

    Designed, Developed, and maintained the main engine of communications within the ERP solution used by Johnson Controls in the automobile division. This engine supported integrations with critical enterprise applications used in more than 100 plants in North America and Asia. Eventually, this development was adopted by Europe in similar scale.
