Here's how you can enhance communication with your team by improving your listening skills.
This is key to building meaningful relationships with your team and your internal/external partners. Showing understanding and relating to feelings is huge. But what many miss is showing your team that you genuinely care and follow up on the conversation (whether it’s to address the topic or just to check in with them). Disposing of the conversation after showing empathy disposes the entire conversation. Offering help, solutions or simply offering space can help too. “What do you need in the moment? What can I help with?” Two powerful questions that we can ask to show and drive engagement and support.

How can you select the best logistics tracking and monitoring solution?
The key is to understand what you are trying to solve internally and the value you’re creating externally. If the value you’re trying to unlock is internal facing, many times you can integrate with carriers via EDI/API and stand up PowerBI style reporting to allow internal tracking. That’s “easy”. But think beyond internal and what value you can provide to customers. Can you give them the supply chain transparency that everyone is craving? That’s the real value. Listening to customers and understanding the value you can add to their organization. If you can provide them with a solution that unlocks value in their business - now you’re sticky. There are so many solutions out there, but take the time to answer what you need to solve.
