    Press Release: DENVER, November 10, 2015 – The Colorado Hotel & Lodging Association (CHLA) inducted former Chair Tim Wolfe to its Hall of Fame during its Annual Conference.
    Wolfe has served Colorado’s lodging industry in multiple capacities, including as a member of the Colorado Tourism Office Board of Directors from 2009-15, and as chair from 2012-13. While on the CTO board, he guided the adaptation of a new marketing philosophy and worked to add a booking mechanism to its website, while remaining mindful of its effect on the lodging industry.
    Named CHLA’s Hotelier of the Year in 2011, Wolfe was chair that same year and served as a member of the Board of Directors from 2006-15. He has always been available to testify on behalf of the lodging industry before legislative committees and closely works with his representatives and senators to build an understanding of the economic value of tourism.
    “Tim has been a visionary for the industry,” said Amie Mayhew, CEO and president. “His foresight and leadership during tough economic times have helped bring CHLA to where it is today.”

    Oct 24, 2011 … The Colorado Hotel & Lodging Association (CHLA) named its 2011 Hotelier of the Year at its recent annual conference at the Broadmoor in Colorado Springs. Timothy H. Wolfe is the general manager of the Antlers Hilton Hotel in Colorado Springs.

    The hotelier of the year is awarded to an outstanding individual who has dedicated his career to the lodging industry in Colorado and contributed to the evolvement and success of the Colorado Hotel & Lodging Association.

    Tim Wolfe recently took over as general manager of the Antlers after more than ten years at the Sheraton Denver West in Lakewood, CO.

    Wolfe has been on the CHLA board of directors for more than eight years and has served on the executive committee in every capacity including Chair of the Association this year.
    He has served on the CHLA government affairs committee and has been committed to helping raising funds for the CHLA Legislative Readiness Fund – established to support issues that create a pro-business and pro-tourism climate in Colorado.

    “Tim is an individual who not only loves the industry but his passion and commitment is endless. He is inspirational and forward thinking. The association and the industry are better today because of his strong leadership. I can’t think of a more deserving person to receive the distinguished Hotelier of the Year recognition.” says Christine O’Donnell, president of CHLA.

    Wolfe is also the ‘lodging representative’ for the Colorado Tourism Office board of directors and has been a driving force in creating new opportunities to reach potential visitors and ensuring that the state maximizing it funding dollars to deliver the best return on investment through increased sales tax revenue.
