“Upon finding out that I would be interviewing at Opower with the CFO, I immediately navigated to LinkedIn to get to know more about this Thomas Kramer fellow. After reading through his many accomplishments and successes, it's safe to say he is a fiercely talented guy who clearly knows what he's doing. Rather than underline that--which I could, and still couldn't do proper justice--I believe it would be better to say the things you can't read on his resume. TK is easy to talk to; he doesn't make you feel uncomfortable unless he feels like playing with you for an amusing laugh that you will surely both share as the conversation progresses. You'll walk away feeling better about yourself and willing to work harder without him even mentioning your work specifically. You're inspired to want to work harder for him. He's knowledgable and willing to share, realizing that he is only as good as his supporting staff. By giving them the constructive criticisms, details and data needed to excel, the group is better for it. He surrenders individual accolade for the good of the team. Thomas is empathetic and kind. He's been quick to give advice, making sure to phrase things with the understanding of how they can be perceived and affect those around him. This was comforting throughout our transition from Opower into Oracle when no one was sure of their future. His weekly meetings were thorough, honest, and always with our best interests in mind. Thomas' LinkedIn and resume show a truly gifted career. It's one that would be top notch in and of itself. But it's TK's heart and positive attitude that set him apart from the other achievers and makes his a rare breed. I'm a better employee for working under his guidance.”
