2nd Place - National Teaching Competition
Korean Ministry of Education
Runner up in the 2013 Korean national teaching competition for designing a creative English-teaching method. Competed against over 1500 entrants from all subjects and levels. Won the city, state, regional and semifinal rounds before competing in the Seoul finals. Was the only foreign teacher to successfully reach the semifinal round.

Selected as Dalseo High School's teacher of the year. Created interesting and unique English courses for high school students. Volunteered my time to organize an intensive class for motivated students whose parents were unable to afford private English tutoring.

Received the city's Customer Service Excellence award for providing excellent service to the city's residents. Was the first recipient of the award, which was created when the city initiated a new customer service campaign. The competition involved all city agencies.
