How can you negotiate when the other party won't compromise on price?
Negotiating just on price often leads to lower value for both parties. In my experience, it is always beneficial to lead the conversation on overall value of your offering if you are a seller and value of the service if you are a buyer. A fair monetary benchmark of the offering/service can help get the other party off the ledge. On the other hand, if someone is negotiating just on price, then they may not be the right customer/partner for the long run. They will more likely switch when someone else comes with a less expensive option.

How can you design an E-Commerce supply chain network to meet customer expectations?
One thing I have found consistently bubbling up the CSAT chart is "delivery promise". Customers are paying lot more attention to: "if you tell me when I will receive my package, it better show up at my door step for sure by then". Couple of missed deliveries, and the next thing is customers are looking for their product needs elsewhere. Inventory proximity definitely helps with this. But, most importantly the choice of last mile carrier(s) and their performance reliability can make or break the delivery promise and core reason why we optimize the supply chain design.
