“I started at Impact Justice a few months after Nicole and we worked together for 4 years. When I started, I immediately looked to her as an expert and role model. She was on top of her work, and was encouraging and honest with me. She had an admirable level of confidence and self-possession that made it hard for me to believe she was a new employee at the time. Since then, her adaptability, strategic thinking, and robust program development and management skills have continued to impress me. She raised the bar on ensuring project planning was thorough, organized, and included the voices and perspectives of the impacted community we worked to support. She is excellent at anticipating potential issues and asking lots of questions at the start of an initiative to make sure it is well thought out. She also contributed to our office culture in immeasurable ways. She is friendly, funny, and puts people at ease. She was also a consistent voice in pushing for our organization to become more transparent, inclusive, and equitable. ”

Holocaust Remembrance & Genocide Awareness Day
Planned and orchestrated a campus wide demonstration to bring reverence and awareness of genocides, both past and present. Along with flags completely covering a main campus lawn, each representing 10,000 lives lost in the Holocaust, names of the deceased were read off for the duration of the day, without break. After this demonstration, I organized a campus-wide lecture and discussion on genocide awareness.
