    The Esperanza Education Fund ensures students across the DC region gain access to higher education through a robust scholarship program. As of 2019, The Esperanza Education Fund reached nearly $1 million dollars awarded to 99 scholars in the last 11 years.

  • Gender Differences in the Effects of Alternative Custody Supervision: An exploration of the relationship between Gender and Recidivism in Butte County after the passage of AB 109

    Analyzed new data provided by the Butte County Sheriff's Office to examine the effect that gender had on recidivism in Butte County after the implementation of AB 109, a prison realignment measure.

    This project was presented at the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences Symposium in Spring of 2014.

  • Holocaust Remembrance & Genocide Awareness Day

    Planned and orchestrated a campus wide demonstration to bring reverence and awareness of genocides, both past and present. Along with flags completely covering a main campus lawn, each representing 10,000 lives lost in the Holocaust, names of the deceased were read off for the duration of the day, without break. After this demonstration, I organized a campus-wide lecture and discussion on genocide awareness.
