How can you use metaphors to make your message more memorable?
Metaphors drive relatability and allow listeners to link what you are describing to something they already understand and know. In this way they leverage the same pathways and previous learning (even subconscious) to understand what you are talking about. Metaphors are a great behavioral science driven way to help listeners connect with content and makes what you say more memorable. If you are looking for a way to break down a complex concept try explaining it to someone in another industry without all your context. See what connections they make and what they liken it to - then leverage that to make a widely relatable metaphor for others.
