    I considered it an honor to have been invited to sit on the LMA Midwest Region Board of Directors. This was my 2nd time on the Midwest BOD (1st time in 2008), but very different now because LMA has split its membership into large regions that span several states. I will be focusing on communications, including helping with the social and digital media efforts for the region, which feels like a very good fit.

    Indiana State University

    The Alan C. Rankin Award was given to college seniors who exhibited leadership skills and activity during their time at Indiana State. I was honored to be named as a finalist as this was an award that was respected and admired by those who were actively involved in campus volunteer organizations and causes.

  • The Morris Park Country Club Girls Club Champion (Golf)

    Morris Park Country Club

    We lived across the street from the golf course and were fortunate enough to grow up around the game. Adding to the special part of this honor is that both of my parents taught us all to play at a very early age, plus my mom ran the Junior Golf program at Morris Park for many years. To be able to win the club championship the last year before I decided I had to spend my summers working was exciting and quite an honor.

  • The South Bend Girls City Golf Champion

    Although quite a while ago, when I was 17, I won the South Bend Girls City Golf Tournament. It was a huge honor as it was a multi-day, match play tournament, and was at a time when I learned that hard work and practice paid off. It was also very special to have my brothers caddy for me.
