Most recently, the Riverbank State Park Youth Hockey Program was award $25,000 grant from the NY Rangers and Chase. Riverbank is the only park of its kind in the Western Hemisphere. Inspired by urban rooftop designs in Japan, this 28-acre multi-level landscaped recreational facility is a state-of-the-art park facility. Rising 69 feet above the Hudson River, Riverbank offers a wide variety of recreational, athletic and arts experiences for all ages, interests and abilities.

The mission of the Fort Tryon Park Trust is to promote the restoration, preservation, and enhancement of this historic and scenic landmark for the benefit and use of the surrounding community and all New Yorkers. The Trust partners with New York City Parks & Recreation to secure dedicated funding for park restoration efforts, ongoing horticultural maintenance, and free public programming.
