The TL:DR version - As a fan of the Grammy Award winning band Train, I helped raise over $35,000 on behalf of Family House, which houses, feeds and supports families of children getting treatment at San Francisco's Benioff Children's Cancer Center.
The details: During a month-long fundraising blitz entitled Calling All Angels (after the Train song of the same name), I brainstormed that the campaign to raise $100,000 could use some inexpensive national exposure. Train's appearance that…The TL:DR version - As a fan of the Grammy Award winning band Train, I helped raise over $35,000 on behalf of Family House, which houses, feeds and supports families of children getting treatment at San Francisco's Benioff Children's Cancer Center.
The details: During a month-long fundraising blitz entitled Calling All Angels (after the Train song of the same name), I brainstormed that the campaign to raise $100,000 could use some inexpensive national exposure. Train's appearance that month as part of the Today Show Summer Concert Series for the show was announced and an idea was born!
The marriage of posterboard and a plethora of hashtags, photos and links to the fundraising campaign led to an additional $35,000 raised over the weekend following the appearance. The show's Twitter handle's retweet of my posters photographed during the broadcast did exactly what I had hoped it would do, which was to "make it go viral."

RMG Media Upfront 2013
A two-day multimedia presentation at the Crosby Street Hotel of RMG Networks' Media offerings. As Events Manager, I sourced out the location, entertainment, coordinated all vendors involved, negotiated contracts for on site catering, IT, room rental, and booked out of town attendee travel. Additionally, I selected and designed takeaway collateral and distributed during the event.

Grammy Awards 2013 Sales Event
A four-day trip to the 2013 Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, CA for our leading partners. This project included sourcing / negotiating / contracting hotels, ground transportation and dinner events. On site, this involved coordination of a meet-and-greet of all guests, assisting executives with travel issues and creating collateral / welcome and post-event gifts for all attendees.
