The Team Guardian program is an avenue in which family, friends, NCCC Alumni and others can provide encouragement and positive reinforcement to Corps Members during their term of service, as well as to promote opportunities available after NCCC. Members do have a support system and resources available to them while in the program, but these can be limited so it is an added benefit to have connections and resources outside the program to fill in the gaps.

The American Red Cross is a volunteer based organization. The opportunity to connect with our communities is through our volunteers.
This training was developed with the objective to provide volunteers who have an interest in representing the Red Cross at community events the knowledge and skills needed to do this successfully.
Working with our volunteer service and disaster service department we put together a Saturday workshop.

The Crosbyton Mission Team is the first to be developed in the Texas South Plains region as part of an intentional effort to focus energy towards expanding the Red Cross presence in rural communities across the Texas South Plains.
