While backhaul requirements and design practices are somewhat well understood, packetized Fronthaul and Midhaul are entirely new access domains with little to no deployments worldwide.

This session will discuss various O-RAN compliant xHaul deployment scenario as well as discuss design best practices and consideration for each xHaul domain (Fronthaul, Midhaul and Backhaul). Design consideration will include things like topological considerations, C-RAN hub site selection, bandwidth dimension and VPN service consideration to align with network requirements as outlined by O-RAN.
