How can you use humor and creativity to stand out in sales prospecting?
I feel like using humor works if there is context and you can somewhat tell that the prospect will be receptive. For example, using humor with a prospect who hasn't opened any emails, has <500 connections on Linkedin and hasn't answered a call probably won't work; these people don't want to talk to you and comical relief won't help. If the prospect has engaged with you or your company in some sort of way, and they seem socially receptive... try humor out but try to make it relevant. I feel like humor is best utilized in a PS at the end of a message, or in the opening statement of a cold call.
