    In the summer of 2019, I applied to the AEI Summer Honors Program to gain a deeper understanding of the different types of economic markets and their implications. The module titled, "Do markets hinder neighborly love?" was held for a week in Washington D.C. The discussion was led by Dr. Anne Bradley and involved doing 500+ pages of reading in preparation. I learned so much by engaging in productive discussions with a diverse group of elite college students from around the country.

    I served as a leader for a missions trip with Cypress Church to an orphanage right outside of Tijuana. It was an opportunity to leave the United States for the first time and experience a culture unknown to me. My heart for these children grew immensely throughout the entire trip. I also had the chance to share about the trip in front of the entire church on a special missions-focused service.
