The Lockwood Foundation facilitates mountain summits, off-road trips, and community-guided hikes for those with physical and mental disabilities throughout Colorado's Front Range. Led by Jeff Lockwood, a backcountry guide, and the generosity of dedicated volunteers, the organization has shattered limits over more than 20 wilderness trips. Most recently the Foundation acquired a 'TrailRider', a specialized wheelchair designed to navigate mountainous terrain such as the 14,000+ ft Quandary Peak near Breckenridge, CO.

    Through targeted media outreach the Lockwood Foundation has appeared in numerous local and national publications such as the Denver Post, Mountain Woman Magazine, and the Colorado Springs Gazette.
