The Innovation Center for Urban Entrepreneurship, Inc. (iCUE) is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 public–private partnership, created to close innovation, job, and wealth gaps. We believe entrepreneurship is the key to developing sustainable urban communities.

iCUE aims to educate, empower, and enable entrepreneurial ecosystems to make a meaningful impact in underserved communities. We achieve our mission by on-ramping founders of color to the innovation economy.

The American Leadership Forum (ALF) is a broad cross-section network of leaders committed to building a stronger community. ALF strengthens diverse leaders to serve the common good. We do this through an intense yearlong program that fosters learning and trust among experienced leaders from every sector of our community. The result is a unique forum where barriers between people are removed, issues are openly discussed, and solutions emerge that benefit the entire community.

Lemonade Day is a fun, experiential program that teaches youth how to start, own and operate their very own business - a lemonade stand. Each year, in participating cities, youth have the opportunity to experience entrepreneurship by setting up their business during their city's community-wide Lemonade Day.

The Ion is Houston's premiere innovation hub for the City of Houston and fosters a community and culture where corporate innovators, academic partners, community partners, startups, and entrepreneurs come together to solve some of the world’s greatest problems.

Host of the world's largest business plan competition over $1mm in prize money. The Rice Alliance for Technology and Entrepreneurship (Rice Alliance) is Rice University’s nationally-recognized initiative devoted to the support of technology commercialization, entrepreneurship education, and the launch of technology companies.

The Collective Generational Mentoring Foundation is a broad-based collaborative mentoring organization created to positively impact the lives of youth and young adults with a specific focus on African American males.

Station Houston is transforming Houston into a world-leading innovation hub by connecting software-enabled startups with mentors, investors, customers, talent, and most importantly, with each other.

By uniting the startup community in a shared work environment, Station Houston will facilitate collisions that spark ideas, drive collaboration, and produce high-impact companies.

The National Black MBA Association is a non‐profit organization founded in 1970 at the University of Chicago, dedicated to the enhancement and development of educational and economic empowerment for African Americans. The National Black MBA Association is a non‐profit organization founded in 1970 at the University of Chicago, dedicated to the enhancement and development of educational and economic empowerment for African Americans. Like‐minded professionals and students are able to share common experiences, histories, and career goals and aspirations. Dedicated to developing partnerships that result in the creation of intellectual and economic wealth within the Black community, the Association is in partnership with more than 400 of the country’s top businesses and business organizations. The GHBC helps its partners and members navigate Houston’s large, diverse population, industries and the many nuances, which are unique to our city.

The GHBC is the “go-to” organization for business development and community outreach partnership opportunities in the Houston African-American community.
