  • Approaching Social in the Age of the Individual

We’ve all heard the quote credited to Jeff Bezos: “Your brand is what other people say about you when you’re not in the room.”

Great quote and very true. However, for the last several years, we’ve been granted unprecedented access to that room. We’ve had the opportunity to tap into what other people have been saying about us via social channels.

And those channels have opened up a whole new level of customer insight, communication and engagement.

But as you’ve probably noticed, it’s getting harder to hear what people are saying about your brand on social because getting into the room is increasingly more difficult.

Privacy concerns, an excess of irrelevant content and ad bombardment may be pushing social media users away from public spaces and into private one-to-one channels with family, friends and those with whom they have some close affinity.

Welcome to the age of the individual.

    PLUS QA Blog

If you’ve ever wondered how to market your app, you’re not alone.

After all, there’s a lot of time, energy, and ingenuity that goes into creating a great application. And the app market is a crowded space—both on mobile and on the Web; the initial success of any app hinges not so much on how great it is, but on how many people hear about and download it.

That’s one of a few reasons we attended Digital Summit Portland last week....
