  • TSMC Fab 21

    - Present

    TSMC's Arizona fab, christened Fab21, is a $52 Billion project and will occupy at least 1,100 acres of land in Phoenix, Arizona, and will churn out tens of thousands of semiconductor wafers in the 5 nm class for the Taiwanese company's customers around the world (initial output is expected at 20K wafers, just short of the 25K TSMC considers for its GigaFab nomenclature).

    My responsibilities on this project are monitoring all process piping systems, weld inspections, and pre-delivery inspections to ensure the contractor's material meets the standard, specifications, and code for the client.
    Ensure project quality plan is thoroughly followed and all inspections accepted or rejected according to the ASME BPE.
    Perform fabrication audits to evaluate contractors qualifications, process, and documentation.
    Thoroughly follow standard operating procedures and organize ETOPs for validation through Preval, Excel, and Trillium Field View.

  • Sabine Pass Liquefaction Project

    -

    Cheniere Energy Sabine Pass Liquefaction Project is a Natural Gas plant on the Gulf of Mexico.
    Bechtel built and expanded the Sabine Pass LNG receiving terminal between 2005 and 2009. Now they're adding liquefaction capability so that the terminals’ storage tanks, shipping berths, and pipelines can be used for LNG exports. Five LNG trains are operational with a sixth train under development and out of the five trains I was privileged to assist in building trans two and three.
