    Since I have started working with IIT Kanpur Alumni Association (Bangalore Chapter), we have organised two startup events, namely Startup Master Class (December 17, 2016) and Social Entrepreneurs and Enterprises (March 4, 2017). Both these events aimed at connecting good startups with interested investors.
    Startup Master Class, or SMC, included talks from eminent people like Amitabh Kant (CEO, Niti Aayog, Govt of India) and T. K. Kurien (CEO, Wipro Technologies), stories from the creators of innovative startups like Team Indus (Front-runner in Lunar XPRIZE competition - privately funded team to place a spacecraft on the moon and send back HD videos and images) and AutoNinja (Technology-driven CRM company in auto-industry), reverse-pitches from venture capitalists like Kalaari Capital and Catamaran Ventures and a startup competition along with one-on-one sessions with various investors and mentors.
    Social Entrepreneurs and Enterprises (SEE) was a similar event, but targetted at startups in the social space. This SEE was focussed on the education and health domains. The event triggered an ongoing effort to establish a marketplace for social entrepreneurs and investors, with primarily focus on directing the CSR funds of various companies to the right place.
