“Austen Bryan, or as I know him "Captain", lives up to that name in every manner possible. His leadership and charisma have been unmatched in my Air Force career. The unique ability he has to provide obtain the best out of those who he leads is incredibly natural and desirable for anyone looking for a great manager. He doesn't have to ask for the best out of his people because he gives them his best at all times, creating an environment where no one wants to let him down and will strive for great achievements without his direct order. Since Austen has been in a leadership position in my group, I have seen every sub-section (5 of them) of which he leads do great things. This is the result of his willingness to trust his people and give them the resources they need to succeed while preventing any roadblocks from those who aren't as much of a visionary as him. There are a handful of people in my professional career who I view as mentors due to the high standard at which I expect a military member to set. Austen is one of them because I know he expects more out of himself than anyone else, and that's who I want to be. Any company who has Austen Bryan leading a team will be better, and not just at work. Their will assuredly be an increase in morale, self-improvement, and motivation. If you need a manager who accepts status quo, look elsewhere. If you need a natural leader, who pushes those around him, look no further. ”
