    In October of 2009 and 2010 I raised funds totaling $3,700 and walked 39 miles over a two day period around New York City.

    The Avon Walk for Breast Cancer has 9 2-day 39 mile walks across the United States each year. Through these walks and their volunteers the Avon Foundation is able to raise funds and awareness for the cause. At the closing ceremonies Avon presents different resources with checks to support their fight against the disease.

    Attending and organizing mission trips to Haiti to help rebuild areas hit hardest by natural disasters.
    Assisted trips as team treasurer for two years and co-leader for one. As a team member I assisted in raising tens of thousands of dollars to attend each of the trips. As team treasurer, I completed thousands of dollars worth of cash only transactions throughout the trip. As Co-leader I assisted in obtaining volunteers for the trip.

    During the summers of 2004, and 2005 I spent a week in Appalachia rebuilding homes for those in need.

    Appalachian Service Project's (ASP) mission is to make homes "Warmer Safer and Drier" for low-income families in central Appalachia. Through the help of thousands of youth volunteers from around the country ASP rebuilds homes each summer spending eight weeks with a different group coming in each week.
