To generate insights for your audiences:

  2. If you need to switch accounts, click the account name in the upper-left corner of the page and select the correct account name from the dropdown.

  3. Click Plan on the left menu and select Audiences.

  4. Click Matched or Saved at the top.

  5. For Matched Audiences - Select the checkbox next to each audience you’d like to generate insights for, then click the Insights button.

    • To view combined insights for multiple audiences, select the checkbox next to those audiences.
    • You can also click the More icon to the right of an audience to access insights.
  6. For Saved Audiences - Click the audience name you’d like to generate insights for.

  7. Once you reach your selected audience's insight page, you can click through the sections to find out more about the audience:

    • Summary - Overview of the content, location, members, and company insights.
    • Content - Topics your audience has recently engaged with on LinkedIn, such as products and general interests.
    • Location - General areas where your audience is located.
    • Members - Job-related attributes of your audience, such as skills and job titles.
    • Companies - Details about where your audience works, such as company name and size.

All insights are directly related to LinkedIn's audience targeting attributes. On your insights page, you can update attributes based on the insights you gain about your audience.

Here's a tip

You can create a campaign directly from an audience's insights page. Click Create campaign in the upper-right corner to begin creating your campaign. The audience will automatically be added to the campaign after you select your campaign group and campaign objective.

You can also make updates to your audience and check insights to see how the changes you make impact your audience.
