✨ Le 15 mai dernier, nous avons eu le privilège de participer à l'événement "La lumière de chez nous" à l'Assemblée nationale du Québec. 👁️ We often say that the eye is a window to health, and now it's more true than ever. Zilia is thrilled to announce an innovative pilot study in collaboration with the Institut universitaire de cardiologie et de pneumologie de Québec - Université Laval. This study marks the first use of ocular spectroscopy to detect transthyretin (ATTR) amyloidosis, a rare but serious heart disease. This groundbreaking research could significantly improve access to care and prognosis for patients with this condition. We can't keep it to ourselves any longer! We're excited to share that we've teamed up with Kagawa University for an innovative study in Japan focusing on retinal oxygenation. Through this partnership, our Zilia Ocular technology will be used to explore how oxygen levels in the retina impact eye conditions like diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusion, and macular degeneration. This marks our first big leap into Japanese research, opening up fantastic opportunities to deepen our understanding and improve treatments for ocular diseases.
