About us
The YMCA of Greater Toledo is an inclusive organization of men, women and children joined together by a shared commitment to nurturing the potential of kids, promoting healthy living and fostering a sense of social responsibility. The YMCA of Greater Toledo has an amazing opportunity to enrich the lives of thousands of children, families and individuals through programs that build spirit, mind and body. Our nine YMCA branches offer a diverse and unique array of programs for people of all ages including child care, summer camps, arts, wellness, youth sports, aquatics and before and after school programs just to name a few. At the YMCA of Greater Toledo, we pride ourselves on ensuring that no one is ever turned away from one of our programs because they can not afford to participate. We accomplish this goal through the Annual Campaign. Each year contributions made to the Annual Campaign go directly to provide program support and financial assistance to deserving individuals, families and children in our YMCA’s service area. We urge you to help support this worthy cause and consider making a donation to this year’s Annual Campaign.

Yesterday, staff across our association joined together for a watch party to engage during the National African American Resource Network's Juneteenth Celebration. The YMCA of Greater Toledo's African American Resource Network was organized to provide leadership development of African Americans in the YMCA movement, and more specifically, for career and personal development, networking, training, and mentoring.

The Y aims to improve the nation’s health and well-being by providing programs and activities that promote wellness, reduce the risk for disease and help others reclaim their health. This month we want to increase awareness of Alzheimer's prevention, and how the BrainSavers program offered at the Y can help. https://bit.ly/3VCMIN4

"Milah’s journey with the YMCA began with an internship, but her passion and dedication quickly propelled her into a full-time position. As the Family Program Director, she has embraced opportunities for professional development and continuously strives to enhance her skills and leadership abilities. Her commitment to growth led her to participate in Leadership Lenawee and complete The Y (YMCA) training, Principles & Practices in Chicago this spring."
