Our Delta, Ohio facility has been leading an annual Community Involvement Day for over five years, where shipping and production is temporarily shut down so employees have the chance to volunteer in their communities. Employees have supported more than 20 non-profit organizations in addition to individual community members who need assistance.   This year, employees volunteered to support local organizations such as Fulton County Board of Developmental Disabilities, Sara’s Garden, Fulton County Fairgrounds and more. Their work included yardwork and landscaping, property maintenance, painting, as well as deck and ramp building.   Thank you to our Delta facility for making a difference in your community and living by Our Philosophy! #DrivingSteelForward

Today is Juneteenth. On this day in 1865, the last enslaved people in Galveston, Texas, were finally informed of their freedom. As we commemorate this important day in history, let us reflect on the progress made while recognizing the work that still lies ahead. Happy Pride Month! Worthington Steel is celebrating our LGBTQIA+ employees and community members throughout the month. Our PRIDE employee resource group volunteered at Pride events in central Ohio, including helping set up for Stonewall Columbus Pride and attending Worthington’s Pride celebration, where they shared information on Our Philosophy and how we support LGBTQIA+ employees. At our Columbus headquarters, many employees also dressed in their best Pride gear to show support. At Worthington Steel, we're proud to offer support and resources to LGBTQIA+ community members. #DrivingSteelForward

To honor the legacy of John H. McConnell and celebrate Founder’s Day, employees around Worthington Steel have been volunteering to support local causes. At our Columbus, Ohio, headquarters, employees packed meal boxes with Children's Hunger Alliance Ohio to provide children across Ohio with nutritious meals. In total, we packed 8,400 meals, which is equivalent to $21,000 worth of impact. Our Twinsburg, Ohio, Worthington Samuel Coil Processing facility organized a supply drive for the Fisher House Cleveland that provides housing to veterans while they are treated at the Veterans Hospital of Cleveland. #DrivingSteelForward

Today is National Forklift Safety Day. At Worthington Steel, we’re committed to ensuring the health and safety of our employees and everyone who enters our facilities.
