Thank you to all of our Members who attended LA Tourism’s June Member Mixer at Sony Pictures Studios’ Scenic Arts Building! The event, which welcomed more than 250 of our valued Members, was not just a chance to showcase one of LA’s many “uniquely Los Angeles” venues but also a valuable opportunity for networking and connection. Here's a fun menu item now available from Wolfgang Puck Catering. Looks like a savory ravioli, with black truffles and parmesan, right? In reality, the “fake-out” dish is a Caramel Mousse in Popcorn-Infused Sweet Ravioli, Freshly Grated White Chocolate, and Shaved Marble Dark Chocolate. This week we are highlighting Yesenia Davila of Wolfgang Puck Catering. Yesenia has assisted the L’Oréal client team in securing the prestigious WELL certification for their El Segundo headquarters by enhancing workplace wellness and sustainability. She proactively introduced innovative café offerings that aligned with highly specific WELL guidelines. She has also significantly reduced on-site plastic consumption by incorporating compostable products and implementing the Waste Not 2.0 program on site, systematically reducing waste generation. Additionally, she coordinated a partnership onsite with the food waste recovery group Chefs to End Hunger, to ensure that surplus food was redistributed to those in need. These combined initiatives supported the WELL certification and underscored her dedication to creating a healthier, more sustainable, and socially responsible workplace.
