Last month our community engagement team held a Growing Confidence Through the Arts bundle workshop at the Michigan Road Library. Participants made their own boombox and explored what a music therapist does. They also received a book list for recommended world of work books to check out from their library, parents received resource articles and children received take home activities and a book. This workshop is part of WFYI's involvement in the Ready to Learn Learning Neighborhood initiative. The aim of this World of Work bundle menu is to promote intergenerational learning moments around building confidence in creativity, performance, and storytelling. Resources in this bundle menu explore how confidence can be cultivated through practice, sticking with a worthwhile task and on-going growth.
