Jeff brings with him a wealth of experience in overseeing the complete lifecycle of significant construction projects valued in the multimillion-dollar range. With a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Jeff has successfully managed a large array of projects, demonstrating a strong ability to synchronize resources with client requirements while navigating budgetary, design, and regulatory parameters. Jeff's extensive expertise in managing wastewater treatment projects and his commitment to enhancing project profitability make him a valuable asset to our team. The Weiss team in Starke, FL is making substantial progress at the City’s WWTP. Working closely with CROM, we’ve successfully introduced flow to our newly constructed oxidation ditch and are amidst modifications of the plant’s secondary clarifiers. Additional scope on the project includes modifications to influent PS, new headworks, mods to the RAS/WAS PS, chemical systems, and digesters, new buildings, and demolition of various existing systems. These improvements of the facility will more effectively support the Starke community’s waste treatment process, maintaining clean waterways as the City continues to grow. #weiss

Our Michigan crews have begun architectural repair and wet well work on the historic Pump Station No. 1 at the Detroit WRRF for GLWA. This $91.5M contract consists of a complete rehab and replacement of all mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems at Pump Station No. 1 without interrupting service. Pump Station No. 1 is one of two pump stations at the facility with a pumping capacity of 1.2BGD, which serves over 1/3 of Michigan's total population. We're looking forward to highlighting this project as work ramps up in the coming months! #weiss #midwest

We are thrilled to introduce Mike Froelich, our new Regional Manager & VP at Weiss Constructors. Mike has an impressive 37 years of tenure in water/wastewater construction and is tasked with pioneering our expansion into the intermountain/southwest region! Mike holds a B.S. in Construction Management from Colorado State University, an A.A. in Mechanical Engineering and is DBIA accredited. Beginning his career as a Field Engineer and ascending through the ranks, Mike has a great depth of technical expertise and experience in our industry. Mike’s construction centric leadership style aligns seamlessly with the Weiss vision. We’re certain Mike’s blend of large enterprise leadership skills, large project achievements, and region-specific expertise will further elevate our organization as we continue our expansion and advance westward! Last Friday, we celebrated Rick Tagliaferri on his retirement from Weiss Construction. Rick has spent over 10 years with Weiss and has had an immense impact on the company. We are so grateful for the years that he has dedicated to us. We hope that this new chapter brings his immeasurable joy, and fulfillment.
