Alexandria Sabatini, MPIA-OPERATIONS AND HR MANAGER Alex is an experienced operations and HR professional with a demonstrated history of working in politics, tech and government contracting industries. Alex is passionate about promoting DEIBA (diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging and accessibility), and creating a culture of continuous learning and professional development. She believes in leading with empathy and using her voice to ensure everyone is heard. When Alex isn’t working, you can find her with her dog Rosie, trying out new restaurants in the DC area with friends or reading. She is excited to roll up her sleeves and get back into progressive politics.

    Way to Win is thrilled to welcome our new team member! Nekesha Whitaker -PROGRAM AND GRANTS MANAGER Nekesha is a native of California and relocated to Atlanta, GA, in 2009 to pursue her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice at Clark Atlanta University. Nekesha became heavily involved in community service and engagement during her undergraduate studies. 2013, Nekesha was accepted into the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies Social Work program. While at Georgia State, Nekesha sparked an interest in community organizing, grantmaking, and nonprofit development. Before Way to Win, Nekesha spent the past eight years in the affordable housing sector, serving families experiencing homelessness at risk of homelessness and advocating for safe and stable housing and communities. In addition to her career in affordable housing, Nekesha remained an active community member on the Westside of Atlanta, promoting civic engagement and resident-led community development.

    Way to Win is thrilled to welcome our new team member! Causten Rodriguez Wollerman -SENIOR DIRECTOR OF POLITICAL ADVISING Causten E. Rodriguez-Wollerman is passionate about strategy and people. With his nearly 20 years of social change work, he has experience at the local, state, and national levels. He has led campaigns and managed capacity-building and leadership development programs. Most recently he was VP of Programs at Movement Voter Project. Prior to MVP, he was Deputy Director of Campaigns for the American Civil Liberties Union, focusing on immigration and racial justice advocacy. In 2017, Causten was Director of Partnerships for Demos, where he led national coalitions, supported a network of people of color leaders reforming democracy, and led the dissemination of the Race Class Narrative. Causten has trained hundreds of organizers nationwide with Re:Power (formerly Wellstone Action), supported dozens of campaigns across the country with the LGBTQ Task Force, and ran leadership development programs specifically with leaders from marginalized communities. His career began as a racial justice organizer in Denver CO, where he led campaigns that attempted to stop the building of a jail and address the overrepresentation of youth of color in the criminal justice system. Causten is passionate about finding strategic solutions to our biggest problems that build power and improve people’s everyday lives. He is dedicated to supporting leaders across the movement. Causten lives in Brooklyn with his toddler, partner, pandemic puppy, and two cats.

    Way to Win is thrilled to welcome our new team member! Joe Hamill -SENIOR STRATEGIC ADVISOR Joe joins Way to Win after nearly 10 years in the labor movement serving as AFSCME's Texas Political and Legislative Director working to build the political power of working people in the face of strong anti-labor opposition and helping expand the states' progressive infrastructure. Joe has deep campaign and organizing experience having run programs and managed campaigns across the country. He has previously served on the board of the Texas Future Project and the Workers Defense Project Action Fund and currently serves as the Board Chair of MOVE Texas, an organization building power in underrepresented youth communities through civic education, leadership development, and issue advocacy. He also serves as a mentor for the University of Texas's LBJ School Women's Campaign School. Joe understands how to develop and execute data-driven programs rooted in broad coalitions and the voices and power of the communities most impacted by electoral outcomes. He is a lifelong Texan who loves to spend as much time outside raising his two children with his wife in Austin.
