What is the state of play for remote work in New York City right now? We found that: 💻Working-from-home is more common in the broader New York area than in and around many other cities, including D.C. and Chicago. 📈Before the pandemic, Americans spent an average of 7.2% of their workdays working from home. Today, 27.1% of workdays happen at home, nearly four times pre pandemic levels. 🍎Within the New York City area, 30.7% of paid workdays are now worked from home. Our data story explores how remote work is impacting office vacancies, property taxes, and New York City’s budget gaps. #RemoteWork #HybridWork #WorkLifeBalance #FutureOfWork #WorkFromHome #NYC https://lnkd.in/eaaenT38
