Happy to announce that our tenant Continental Tires Timisoara is expanding their activities at VGP Park Timisoara, Romania. The tire manufacturing company is leasing a total lettable area of approximately 20,000 m2 in the 8th completed building of the park. Designed sustainably, the building aims for the BREEAM Excellent certification, featuring smart metering, an air heat pump system, and provisions for a solar system among others. To meet Continental Tires’ unique requirements, VGP adapted the building’s height to 10.3 meters, adhering to strict tire storage regulations. VGP Park Timisoara is strategically located near the International Airport, making it a vibrant logistics and industrial hub. From the total lettable area of 178,800 m2, an area of 10,700 m2 is still available for lease at this state-of-the-art park. Delighted to announce that VGP is developing the new facilities for Verne at VGP Park Zagreb, our first development project in Croatia. Verne, co-founded by Mate Rimac, leases a total lettable area of 28,500 m2 for their flagship urban autonomous mobility ecosystem project. Today, our CEO Jan Van Geet, our German colleagues, and local representatives came together for a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the start of construction for the further development of VGP Park Leipzig Airport. After the first phase has been completed and leased out earlier on, the construction for the first building of the second phase has started. Planning four more buildings, the second phase of the park will offer an impressive total lettable area of up to 210,000 m2. VGP Park Leipzig Airport is strategically located near Leipzig/Halle Airport, the fourth largest cargo airport in Europe, and directly on the A9 Munich-Berlin road. Among other high-quality eco-efficient features, rooftop solar systems and heat pumps are foreseen. Furthermore, ecological compensation areas have been created to contribute to the local ecosystem. Happy to announce that the construction for hall B at VGP Park Ceske Budejovice, Czech Republic, has started. This state-of-the-art facility, spanning approximately 8,700 m2, is going to offer small business units, designed to meet the multifunctional needs of dynamic smaller and medium-sized companies. The project offers a combination of warehouse, production, and office spaces with lease options from approximately 250 m2, ideal for both wholesale and retail sales, and also possible to use as showrooms. Currently 4,869 m2, more than half of the hall, has already been leased out to Toyota Dolák, the largest Toyota sales and service partner in the country, sports nutrition retailer Fitness Trade and a solar panel specialist Sun construct, s.r.o.. Strategically located on the outskirts of the South Bohemian metropolis, VGP Park Ceske Budejovice has easy access to the city centre, to other large Czech cities, and to neighboring Austria via the D3. Sustainable and eco-efficient features are also foreseen for this unique project to obtain the BREEAM Excellent certification.
