Our very own Scott Sobel shared valuable insights on our unique approach and success in the venture capital landscape. ✴ In the article, Scott highlights the importance of geographic specialization and its impact on deal quality: "In the early days, there weren’t a lot of people doing what we were doing in Brazil and Latin America. When we started in 2010, I think there was less than $100 million in venture capital that went into Brazil. So we saw most of the deal flow that was there." ✴ Scott also emphasizes the significance of focusing on sectors and stages: "Great performance comes from a relatively small number of companies, and you want to be in those companies early." ✴The best opportunities come from the best entrepreneurs: "Entrepreneurs are probably the best source of our deals and opportunities today. The best entrepreneurs want to work with other great entrepreneurs. That’s a really important area for us."
