Last month, Texas Oncology and DeepScribe announced a collaboration to reduce administrative burden for providers using DeepScribe's AI solutions. To make the scribing process as seamless as possible, DeepScribe has integrated its AI documentation into Ontada's EHR, iKnowMed. "Working with DeepScribe aligns perfectly with our mission to advance cancer care for all Texans," said Steve Paulson, M.D., president and CEO of Texas Oncology. "This innovative technology not only allows our clinicians to reduce time spent on documentation by significant hours each day, but also strengthens our ability to deliver better care.” Together, The US Oncology Network and Ontada create innovative solutions for practices and providers, attracting collaboration with some of the most impactful organizations in oncology and helping liberate physicians from their keyboards so they can spend more time with patients. The Network is proud to facilitate site visits with members of Congress and state legislatures at practices in The Network to highlight the importance of policies supporting accessible, affordable, and high-quality care in the community setting. We would like to express our gratitude to Rep. Diana DeGette and Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers for their contribution in showcasing how patients access clinical trials in the community setting in the Denver metroplex area.
Thank you to Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers for joining The US Oncology Network’s dinner event with Rep. Diana DeGette in downtown Colorado this past week. It was truly a pleasure to share more about the great work being done in the Denver metroplex area connecting patients with cutting edge research and access to clinical trials in the community setting. It was also great to share the importance of private practice viability and pressures faced from consolidation. We look forward to working with Rep. DeGette as she continues to be a leader in health care on the House Energy & Commerce Committee.

July is Sarcoma & Bone Cancer Awareness Month. This rare cancer type accounts for approximately 1% of adult cancers and 15-20% of childhood cancers. Unfortunately, sarcoma is often resistant to existing treatment methods, and there is a need for new therapeutic options. Clinical trials and research play a vital role in improving treatment options and overall survival for these cancers. #ClinicalTrials #SarcomaAwarenessMonth #BoneCancerAwareness #CancerResearch
