Guess what?! UNF excels again! Recently, Hands Up Communications recognized UNF's ASL/English Interpreting Program as one of the top six in the nation. Joseph Featherstone, a UNF alumni and CEO of Hands Up Communications, praised the program's comprehensive curriculum and faculty's diverse expertise stating, “The curriculum at UNF is meticulously crafted to ensure a comprehensive development of interpretation skills. Meet Amar Kosovac, a Jacksonville native and biology graduate student with a passion for research. He presented his study on microbial-induced calcite precipitation at last year's U-Glide Symposium, aiming to combat erosion in areas like the Gulf Stream. He's also explored the potential of bacteria in preventing beach erosion in collaboration with Dr. Raphael Crowley and Dr. Terri Ellis.
