    The French magazine Désirs de Voyages recently featured Arkansas on their pages! Journalist Jean-Michel de Alberti road-tripped through historic roads from Little Rock to Hot Springs. The journalist ventured last winter and discovered all that Arkansas has to offer. This resulted in a beautiful spread that showcases the state in all its glory.     In the first quarter of 2024, LATAM Airlines and Delta Air Lines reported a remarkable 43% increase in passengers on their Brazil-USA flights compared to the same period last year. This significant growth can be attributed to the success of their Joint Venture established in 2022. During this quarter, LATAM and Delta collectively transported 434,000 passengers, accounting for 32% of all travelers between these two countries. This achievement highlights the effectiveness and impact of their strategic partnership in enhancing travel options and connectivity across the Americas. This milestone underscores the commitment of LATAM and Delta to providing exceptional service and fostering closer ties between Brazil and the USA through air travel.     Exciting Growth in the Southern States! In 2023, all our southern states experienced substantial growth compared to 2022! Each state reported an increase in international visitors and their spending. On average, international visitor numbers rose by an impressive 43.07%, with spending also seeing a robust increase of 41.68%. Additionally, the collective export of goods from all 12 southern states averaged $33.5 billion. Looking ahead, projections from Tourism Economics indicate continued growth momentum for the current year.     For the second consecutive year, the Milan-based magazine, Latitudes, has embarked on a journey through our Southern states. Last year, travelers Marco Santini and Lucio Luigi Rossi explored West Virginia, North Carolina, and Tennessee, crafting insightful travel guides with stunning photography of our Southern paradise. From March to May 2023, Latitudes featured these guides, captivating Italian readers and inspiring them to visit these remarkable states. This year, the spotlight shifted to Alabama, Mississippi, and Louisiana, with each state receiving dedicated coverage in the February, March, and April issues. Marco and Lucio delved into the local cuisines, histories, and cultures, offering a plethora of recommendations for dining, accommodations, and must-visit destinations. Their guides also highlight the rich gastronomic scenes, hidden gems, musical heritage, and historical landmarks unique to each state. Lucio Luigi Rossi's picturesque photography beautifully captures the essence of the South, while Marco Santini's eloquent descriptions invite readers to explore everything these states have to offer.
