Titanium Clad Carbon steel Vessel. All carbon steel on the outside but on the inside its titanium. Titanium cladding is used in lieu of solid titanium to achieve significant cost savings. It allows us to take advantage of the low cost carbon steel for it’s mechanical properties while keeping the corrosion resistance of the titanium on the inside. This makes it an attractive option for a wide range of industrial and commercial applications where the benefits of titanium are needed without the full expense of solid titanium components.
