Our long-time donor and friend has the sweetest way to beat the heat! She often gives gifts in recognition of birthdays and special events. This year, she decided to donate 800 ice pops in honor of a good friend's wedding! Resident Home Association volunteers with us on a weekly basis. During the school year they assemble Good-To-Go Backpack meal kits for children experiencing food insecurity, and this summer they are helping us repack donations for our partner agencies. We’re thrilled to announce our collaboration with Eastway Behavioral Healthcare in opening a new food pantry in Dayton, scheduled for July 10. As one of Ohio’s largest mental health care agencies, Eastway is taking a holistic approach to care by addressing food insecurity and other basic needs among their clients. This new site will be set up like a grocery store, making it easier for clients to access the nutritious food they need.
