  • In honor of Pride Day, The Venetian Resort's Marketing, Casino and Security teams are proud to have volunteered with our partners at The Pride Tree for their Camp Kick-Off event! 🌟 The event welcomed nearly 50 children who will enjoy all the benefits of summer camp without the constraints of gender norms. Volunteers assisted with setup of the event and helped children and parents prepare for their bus take off. This incredible camp builds self-esteem, leadership skills and a strong sense of community.

  • Since joining The Venetian Resort in October 2023, Lara has excelled in her first hospitality role. Lara's favorite quote is "Happiness is only real when shared," which perfectly captures her collaborative spirit and commitment to fostering a positive work environment. Join us in celebrating Lara and her incredible contributions to her team. What is your proudest career achievement? In our inaugural year of F1, communicating effectively with our Team Members regarding road closures, monorail passes, and shift changes was crucial. My team worked diligently to ensure nearly 9,000 Team Members had a monorail card, knew where to go, and were able to make it to work each day. Our team worked 24/7 to ensure Team Members had unwavering support. What makes you most proud to be a Venetian? I often catch myself treating strangers in the grocery store as friends, accustomed as I am to a workplace brimming with smiling faces, people who say good morning while holding doors and elevators, and who make you laugh even during brief elevator journeys. It is not like this everywhere. Our people truly make the place. What is your favorite quote? "Happiness is only real when shared," McCandless once wrote. This sentiment also rings true when I consider success. Isolating oneself to get ahead—either neglecting work-life balance in an attempt to race to the finish, or overlooking your team's contributions in pursuit of efficiency—neither of these paths work as well as collaborating frequently, curating a home life with people who celebrate your successes, and taking moments to give back and assist others. True success and happiness are the result of helping and having been helped.

  • Eve has been an integral part of our team for 13 years, starting as EMT Security Officer and progressing to her current role. Her proudest achievement is the development and ongoing success of the EMT Program, which she helped build from the ground up. Let's celebrate Eve's remarkable contributions, leadership and support of our team and guests! What makes you most proud to be a Venetian? That I feel like no matter what my role has been during the years, that I have a voice in how I can impact the future for the department and the company. The Venetian Resort is very generous in assisting with personal and professional development. What is the best leadership advice you’ve ever been given? No matter how much of a subject matter expert you are, there is more to learn. Always grow and make time for work/life balance. What leadership advice would you give to emerging leaders? Continue to work on yourself, keep learning all you can. You are the only one who can stop your advancement.
