In June 2020, the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center-James Cancer Hospital & Solove Research Institute's Cancer Diagnostic Center opened its doors to new patients for the first time with the goal of providing direct, expedited access to anyone who suspected cancer — with or without a physician referral.

The 2024 Special Olympics Ohio Summer Games presented at #OSUWexMed offered screenings to the nearly 3,500 participating athletes, ages 8 to 81, from across the state. “Anytime we can get an athlete to engage more in their own health and keep them competing and doing the things that they like doing, it’s always a win."

Uterine cancer has become the deadliest form of reproductive cancer among women and the gap between how it impacts Black and white women continues to widen.
