With over 130 years of experience in the flour milling industry, Mennel has recently grown to include other strategic business ventures including over 20 sites in 6 states. This growth has been guided by the vision and leadership of the Mennel family, now in its fifth generation, as well as the hearts and hands of over 500 dedicated employees. Headquartered in Fostoria, Ohio, Mennel consists of 6 state-of-the-art flour mills; 10 country grain elevators; 2 trucking companies; a bakery mix facility; a popcorn facility; among other businesses. Our Mission is to reliably deliver superior quality, uniformity and service through strategic investments in our products, processes and people. Meet Ron M., Mill Trainer at Mennel Milling & Bakery Mix - Newton.🌾 Ron served for eight years in the United States Marine Corps as a Machine Gunner. Ron was aboard the USS Coral Sea Marine Detachment and took part in MED Cruises 84 & 86. He also participated in Desert Storm, as well deployments to Lebanon and Libya. We salute our veteran team members who now grind with a different mission - feeding the world. Meet Frank Smith, Assistant Engineer at our Mennel Milling & Bakery Mix plant in Newton, North Carolina. Frank served in the U.S. Marines, Navy, and Army for 30 years. During his service, Frank was a machine gunner, weapons instructor, forward observer, security, armored cavalry scout, and warfare specialist.
