THE Breast Cancer Fundraiser

My hope for every young professional is to find work they are passionate about and feel a sense of purpose throughout their journey. At 19 years old, I hosted my first party with no idea of what was to come. It's been a true gift to build my career at Kapture Vision, alongside volunteering and leading THE Breast Cancer Fundraiser for the past 20 years. Thank you BizBash for featuring our story.

That’s a beautiful wrap! 🎀 All October long - together with your support - we have generated powerful forces to change this world for the better. We loved on 50 breast cancer patients undergoing treatment at this past WeGive Day at Providence St Jude Fullerton. We reminded each one that her beautiful butterfly wings are growing in. How poignant it is to put smiles on their faces, to see grateful tears in their eyes, and to witness the power of hope and the resilience of their beautiful hearts. It took me years to find my way back to the light after a breast cancer diagnosis at 35. I found my voice by helping others and by becoming an active ambassador, advisory board member, and volunteer for the The Breast Cancer Fundraiser @thebcf . I pray every day we find a cure, but until we do we will preserve the dignity of patients by working tirelessly to create a world where no breast cancer patients feels alone. The BCF helped me turn my pain into grit and passion; helping others has helped me find my greater purpose. When you volunteer y’all, you light a path for others to follow. The butterfly effect is about creating these indelible ripples of good. Light of path of service and others will follow. The details are below: 🎀 When: Tuesday, November 7 from 4pm-6pm 🎀 Where: Left Hand RiNo, 4180 Wynkoop St. #140 Denver CO 80216 🎀 Who: You and any friends or colleagues and other professionals and business owners in the Denver Metro Area 🎀 What: Fun social networking for a great cause by building care packages that will be delivered to breast cancer patients at Rose Medical Center. Food & beverages will be sponsored by SPZ, Schomburg Insurance, DNVR Lending, and UBS.  🎀 Cost: The cost to participate is $200 per person, which is a 100% tax deductible charitable donation to the Breast Cancer Fundraiser. This April, I made the decision to return to Saatchi & Saatchi (We Are Saatchi) and I have never felt more aligned ❤️. Creating community and bringing people together has, and always will be, my craft - especially when it’s for a good cause.
