The programmable internal tooling platform for developers.

About us

Superblocks is a low-code platform to build enterprise-ready internal apps more quickly and cost-efficiently than custom development. Developers can simply drag and drop components to craft their app UI, connect to production databases and APIs to build backend logic visually, and extend infinitely with SQL, JavaScript, and Python. With Superblocks, businesses ship enterprise-ready internal apps in 1/10th of the time at 1/10th of the cost.

We’re so excited to announce that Brad Wyman has joined Superblocks as a part of our Enterprise Sales Team here in our NYC HQ! Brad was mostly recently at Starburst where he was leading the enterprise sales team in New York, and prior to that, was at a number of successful startups including Rubrik, Medallia & Apptio, an IBM Company. When he’s not helping customers or chasing his 2 kids, you can find Brad on the basketball court, golf course, or checking out the NYC restaurant scene. Please join us in welcoming Brad to the team!

It’s the micro interactions for developers that are the most thoughtfully designed. I was using Superblocks earlier this week to sync some data between systems. Naturally APIs are paginated, so I’m watching my flow go 10 loops, 20 loops, 50 loops. And then, on loop 51, I messed up. Blasted null checks. Fortunately, Superblocks really thought about my developer experience. I had access to the data that caused the NoneType Exception. AND I wouldn’t need to wait 51 loops to run into my error again, I could just run the last step. See the GIF — the design intuition is amazing. This is the exact workflow that developers love about Jupyter Notebooks. - Your state variables are persisted even when your runtime fails. (You don’t need to run a separate cell to generate test data) - You can incrementally test code, one Superblocks step or Jupyter cell at a time For developers, these quality of life improvements are like compound interest. A developer who can write code at 140 word per minute gets a lot faster at higher order tasks. This is the low-code equivalent of typing faster. ALSO PYTHON. I don’t know if other low code platforms are blind, oblivious, or their product teams have never used their own products. Python is the second most popular language in the world & JavaScript is only winning because front-end is a monopoly. (Thanks GitHub for all the research you do for us: https://lnkd.in/d9fE_giz) There’s a few other things that I really like about developer experience in Superblocks. 🚀 Today I’m excited to announce Superblocks Multipage apps – enabling developers to build complex admin suites for their Operations teams 3x faster, with enterprise governance. Every enterprise at scale must build complex internal software to run their core Operations. For example, in Financial Services, a bank might need to build a single software suite for Customer Onboarding, Underwriting, Transaction Management, Credit Card Management, Account Management and more. This software is then utilized by 1000s of Operations and Support Agents to serve the bank's end customers. While the custom software may start with a few small features, but will grow to become 100s of pages and 1000s of features. With Superblocks Multipage Apps, Superblocks now support that level of power, flexibility and scale enabling developers to: 🪄 Build complex, highly sophisticated admin applications in days rather than months 🌐 Use static and dynamic routes to share content for specific users, locations, or transactions 🌎 Get blazing fast page performance making your app feel modern and snappy for end users, no matter where they are located globally Read more on the blog: https://lnkd.in/eNH6qiUJ

When you're leading at a data-driven company, it’s clear that frequent reporting is crucial for staying agile and keeping your business on track. At Housefolios, we've been using Superblocks to deliver customized, high-quality reports to our numerous stakeholders on a monthly or even weekly basis. Previously, our engineers spent hours each week building these reports inside of our apps, making last-minute requests nearly impossible to fulfill. Now, anyone from software engineers to admins can create reports, and it only takes hours. With low-code, we've transformed a critical business operation that used to consume our engineering resources into a collaborative effort for the entire team. This not only saves time but also encourages everyone to contribute ideas and learn from the process. Superblocks gives me great security and leverage as an engineering leader, and I highly recommend this tool to anyone who wants to empower their teams with the time and energy needed to create better customer experiences. #superblocks

This week, Snowflake CEO Sridhar Ramaswamy gave the opening keynote at the Snowflake Data Summit 2024 in San Francisco featuring Jensen Huang. They shared a vision for “The era of enterprise AI”. 3 Takeaways 1) Snowflake announced a partnership where NVIDIA software will be able to be run in Snowflake environments. As Jensen said "bringing the best computing power to your data, instead of transferring your data to our compute engines". This will work in tandem with Snowflake's Arctic LLMs. 2) As data grows increasingly complex, keeping AI tools simple becomes more and more paramount to ensure rapid enterprise adoption. Launches like Snowflake Cortex AI Analyst, enable business users to interact with structured data using natural language to find answers faster, self-serve insights and save time. 3) The number of AI use cases is large and seem to be highly industry specific in the enterprise across both internal applications and customer facing experiences. Anu Jain, Global Head of Enterprise Data at J.P. Morgan is using AI to inform to give their frontline teams the tools to anticipate what products their customers are likely to need next. Caitlin Halferty, Global CDO at Ericsson is using AI to model sites their team would work on and determine hazards, costs, and how many workers to send. Thomas Davey, CDO at Booking.com is using AI to reinvent the booking journey with intelligent AI suggestions and itineraries for customers based on hyper-personalization.
