We are a dynamic Catholic Church and School campus with an opportunity available for a Director of Music and Liturgy. The Director of Music and Liturgy is responsible for the overall weekend experience here at St. Patrick of Heatherdowns. Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of the Director of Music and Liturgy: • Plan all liturgies for church and school • Oversee al liturgical ministers, including training, scheduling, etc. • Direct the Liturgical Choir, assemble and lead contemporary band(s), manage musicians/instruments/rehearsals/Masses • Execute all funeral and wedding liturgies as they arise • Manage music library • Assist the Environment Committee with decorating, ordering supplies, and managing liturgical inventory • Communicate with priests and deacons ensuring they are prepared for Mass.
