About us
Spotter empowers top YouTube creators to accelerate their business and unleash their full creative potential by giving them access to the capital, knowledge, and community they need to succeed at scale. As the top provider of creator-friendly growth capital, Spotter tailors our investments to meet the unique needs of each creator we partner with, giving them the freedom to create without compromise. Creators are then free to reinvest those funds however they choose, from hiring a team, to building their own production studios, and everything in between, all while maintaining total control over their catalogs, their channels, and their future earnings. In addition to funding, Spotter provides creators with in-depth data insights into the performance of their existing content, enabling them to leverage the full value of their library, as well as the value of future uploads and how they can improve performance in the future. Spotter has already deployed over $600 million to YouTube creators to reinvest in themselves and accelerate their growth, with plans to reach $1B in investment before 2023. With a premium catalog that spans over 250,000 videos, Spotter generates more than 75 billion monthly watch-time minutes, delivering a unique scaled media solution to Advertisers and Ad Agencies that is transparent, efficient, and 100% brand safe.

Day 1 at Cannes Lions is off to an exciting start, with Spotter Creator Partners Colin Rosenblum and Samir Chaudry in conversation about the Creator Economy with The Wall Street Journal's Jessica Toonkel. YouTube Creators are winning today's battle for attention (did you know that viewers globally watch more than 1 BILLION hours of YouTube on CTV per day??) and long-form content is on the rise. Even 28% of Colin and Samir's content is viewed on CTV, while their average video view duration is 40 minutes. Tomorrow, we'll continue this conversation with Spotter's very own Lauren Benedict, Colin and Samir, and Marc Hustvedt (President, MrBeast) in partnership with our friends at Ad Age during a can't-miss-panel on Dentsu Beach.

Saddened to hear of the passing of Niklaus Wirth, a pioneer in language development. Pascal, the first structured programming language many computer science students learned, was his brainchild. In 1985, while working on two books on Turbo Pascal, I corresponded with Niklaus Wirth at ETH. He was kind enough to answer my questions about the origins of Pascal, and I learned about building compilers and BNF from his work. His contribution to the field of computer science will always be remembered. I worked with Philippe Kahn, who founded Borland, planning the first US release of Turbo Pascal 1.0 on November 20, 1983. Turbo Pascal was the first widely available compiler with an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) and ran on CP/M and MS-DOS on IBM style PCs.

Furthering our commitment to empowering YouTube creators and providing them the resources needed to succeed at scale, we are excited to share that Spotter has partnered with YouTube to support its multi-language audio (MLA) platform. Together, with YouTube, we are making language dubbing accessible to creators who previously lacked the necessary resources and capital to do so and are empowering them to utilize MLA to expand their reach across international audiences.
