Tonight the All-Star Game hits screens across the country straight out of Arlington Texas. Down in Global Life Field, the FOX Sports ops team is helping broadcast the 94th edition of the game. Produced In 1080p HDR, and 4K for select distributors, its a far cry from the first All-Star Game that FOX produced back in 1997. Roughly 50 cameras are throughout the stadium for both game and studio overage, six of which are shooting in 6X, two that are RF MōVI units and a live drone. Continuing the technological advancements of this year’s game will include more mic setups on not just players, but various locations around the venue to capture the close sounds and conversations on the field. “This May through early July has become as busy as the fall for us at FOX. It is amazing to see the team pull together across the board and, in some cases, switch gears and do something else at a really high level. It’s impressive to watch the team expand, grow, and execute.” - Brad Cheney Michael Davies | Angie Swint | Pete Macheska | Matt Gangl | Brad Zager | Paul Harvath | Taihe Miller | Jake Fuller | Paul Zecca | Francisco Contreras | Pamela Chvotkin, MBA | Erik Guyton | Steve Dolce | David Faller | Anil Letherwala | Patricia Fischer | Brady Polansky | Lou D'Ermilio | Simon Benazra | Erik West | Judy Acone Game Creek Video ⚾ : https://lnkd.in/eiA8RQJN

Deciding what graphics went on the screen during the broadcast was half the battle, to ensure that viewers were both made aware of the action in the arena, yet not too distracted to miss game play. Celli recounts what went into the decision making for these graphics, in particular, the Crowd Intensity Meter. Watch the full episode now: https://lnkd.in/gxBXAvCq
