Over 200 banking students arrived in Columbia for the 2024 SC Bankers School! All agreed it was very hot, but after registration, orientation, a couple classes, and a delicious BBQ dinner, everyone was having a good time reuniting with old classmates and meeting new friends. We are excited about the week ahead!

We started our day with an inspirational prayer breakfast with Dr. Neil Stewart of First Presbyterian Church, Columbia, SC, then had business sessions with top leaders, and finished our 124th Annual Convention with a delicious dinner and entertainment from The Mighty Kicks...doesn't get any better than this!!
Just a few highlights from our 124th Annual Convention at The Greenbrier...It was an honor to have Karen Eckford of First Palmetto Bank present to receive her half-century club award as well as Terry Lynn Carter of Home Federal Savings & Loan and M.J. Huggins III of United Bank present to receive their 35-year club awards. Congratulations to Wells Dunlap of Countybank for receiving the honor of "2024 Outstanding Young Banker" award.
