  • 🌞 Summer has officially arrived which means it’s time for the SHEIN Annual Picnic! Last week, SHEIN team members from offices across the U.S. came together to take part in a fun-filled company event at Santa Anita Park. The SHEIN Rodeo was a day full of activities (including painting lessons and Wanderlust Creamery treats!) along with a special track tour from 30-year professional jockey veteran Iggy Puglisi. Most importantly, it was a chance for over 300 SHEINers to come together and make meaningful connections. Thanks to everyone who made this event a success!

  • SHEIN was back for a second year at Collision Conf, dubbed one of the "fastest-growing tech conferences" gathering Fortune 500 companies, groundbreaking startups and leaders from around the world. SHEIN’s Peter Pernot-Day was interviewed on center stage by Steve Clemons, in a discussion on "The Next Normal - The Future of Shopping.” Peter outlined the trends driving fashion brands currently and SHEIN’s continued focus on affordability and accessibility for a wide range of customers. 👉 Did you know about the impact of a digitalized supply chain? SHEIN's automated process ensures our third-party supplier partners only make what customers want by tracking trends and sales to accurately forecast and match demand. This means much more affordable prices for customers —and less waste. Learn more: https://lnkd.in/g3r_Pn3M #CollisionConf

  • “Working with deadstock fabrics is fairly new to me but I do feel like this is the way the fashion industry is going and this is the future.” – Christian Caldwell, founder and designer of Christian Allana, a contemporary womenswear brand based in Atlanta, Georgia. We love to highlight the local artists and brands behind our SHEIN X designer incubator program. Christian was one of six designers that recently launched collections made from rescued fabrics as part of SHEIN’s partnership with Queen of Raw, to pave the way for a more circular fashion future with a lower environmental impact. 💫 Check out Christian’s recent interview with local NPR station WABE in Atlanta as she discusses her design process and her favorite pieces from the new SHEIN X Rescued collection with Summer Evans: https://lnkd.in/gUxtpSVs

  • We love seeing Tampa-based fashion designer De Johnea Thorpe in the headlines! She spoke with Tampa Bay Business Journal about unveiling her seventh collection with the SHEIN X Designer Incubator Program and the benefits she has seen for her business.  ✨ "Being an independent designer has so many challenges, and producing garments can be quite costly. This program is a beautiful process because it gives you a lot of control," says Thorpe. She reflected on her younger years when her mom bought her a sewing kit, "I would make little pieces and try to sell them to my friends, and I would go to thrift stores and buy wedding gowns and try to make them into something." ✨ To read the full story, visit: https://bizj.us/1qldp6

  • Did you know that Asian Americans are the least likely to feel a strong sense of belonging in the U.S.? The 2024 STAATUS Index reveals that due to discrimination and lack of representation, only 38% of Asian Americans completely agree they belong, and even fewer feel fully accepted. The STAATUS Index survey conducted by The Asian American Foundation serves as the leading national study of American stereotypes and attitudes toward the Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islanders (AANHPI) community. Launched in 2021 in response to the rise of anti-Asian hate, TAAF works tirelessly to reverse the longstanding under-investment in the AANHPI community and address the root causes of hate and discrimination.    This month in celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month, SHEIN is thrilled to highlight the vibrant creatives and culture of the AANHPI communities. Through the newly announced SHEIN X Sriracha collection, we are featuring designs from seven independent artists who are part of the SHEIN X designer incubator program. By shopping the SHEIN X Sriracha collection, customers will not only be adding unique pieces to their wardrobe—they’re also supporting the incredible work of The Asian American Foundation (TAAF). • 💍 Cue the wedding bells! We’re gearing up for an unforgettable Memorial Day Weekend with the SHEIN Love Chapel! This will be SHEIN’s first wedding-focused pop-up experience, where 30 lucky couples will get the chance to be "Vegas-hitched" (non-legally binding) by none other than "Love Is Blind" season one fan-favorites, Lauren Speed-Hamilton and Cameron Hamilton. These special ceremonies will be held in the heart of Las Vegas, with couples dressed in complimentary wedding attire sold on SHEIN. Lauren and Cameron shared their excitement: "We are so honored to be playing a special part in the SHEIN Love Chapel experience by officiating commitment ceremonies for eligible couples in a city that holds a special place in our hearts. Having renewed our vows in Las Vegas last year, we're thrilled to extend that same love and joy to other lucky couples, making their day just as memorable." Plus, SHEIN will be hosting a retail pop-up store where fans can shop a variety of wedding-inspired merchandise including bridesmaid dresses and bridal gowns in inclusive sizing. The shop, located at Fashion Show Mall on the Las Vegas Strip, will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. PST on Saturday, May 25, and from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. PST on Sunday, May 26. For the first time, designers from the SHEIN X Designer Incubator Program have launched collections made from rescued fabrics as part of SHEIN’s partnership with Queen of Raw, a global circular economy technology company whose flagship software, Materia MX, specializes in solving supply chain’s excess inventory issues for the world’s largest companies. ✨ "We knew that SHEIN would be a perfect partner to help Queen of Raw scale a rescue initiative for the world's deadstock," said Founder and CEO of Queen of Raw, Stephanie Benedetto. "We're thrilled to be able to get these rescued and beautiful fabrics into the hands of some incredible designers from SHEIN's incubator program." ✨ To bring this collection to life, SHEIN worked with six talented SHEIN X designers, Christian Caldwell, De Johnea Thorpe, Rajvizithi singh, Ngozika Okeke,PhD(c), Mel Dorey, and Daniela Ricciardelli, who designed 30 stylish pieces created to delight SHEIN shoppers and pave the way for a more circular fashion future with a lower environmental impact.
